چکیده

Aim. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects hydrofluoric acid and one-component ceramic primer silane (Monobond Etch Prime (MEP)) applications on lithium disilicate glass ceramics zirconium-infiltrated silicate ceramics, as well effect ultrasonic phosphoric surface washing methods bond strength. Materials Method. A total 240 samples were prepared using two different CAD-CAM material blocks with a thickness 2 mm made glass-ceramic (IPS e.max CAD) (Celtra Duo). cemented composite discs (Tetric N-Ceram) after treatments, processes applied them. As such, 24 groups formed, each applications, three processes, blocks, aging procedures ( n = 10 ). Following application acid, are used. These HF only (HF + W), US), PA), MEP (MEP PA). dual cure adhesive cement (Multilink Automix) determined treatments blocks. After SEM analysis was conducted. exposure thermal procedures, long-term (TL) short-term (TS), strengths measured an Instron universal test device. SPSS version 23.0 software used perform statistical analyses. Histogram graphs Kolmogorov-Smirnov/Shapiro-Wilk assess variables’ conformity normal distribution. Results. strength values TS TL in Celtra Duo block significantly higher than those CAD id="M2"> p < 0.05 TS-TL bonding value difference measurements block. While highest US for id="M3"> 20.07 ± .31 , terms when compared other groups. Conclusion. demonstrated short long cycle material. In general, bonded less affected by treated MEP.

Effect of hydrofluoric acid concentration and etching time on the surface roughness of CAD/CAM ceramics

Introduction: Dental ceramics are considered as materials that can restore the appearance of natural teeth. Etching the inner surface of a ceramic restoration with hydrofluoric acid (HF) followed by using a silane coupling agent is a well-known and recommended method to increase the bond strength. The aim of etching on ceramic structure is to enhance the surface roughness (Ra) and energy and to...

Effect of hydrofluoric acid concentration and etching time on microtensile bond strength of suprinity and enamic CAD/CAM ceramics to resin cement

Introduction: The use of dental ceramics has increased due to their beauty and biocompatibility. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of hydrofluoric acid concentration and etching time on microtensile bond strength (μTBS) of the Enamic and Suprinity ceramics. Material & Methods: In this in vitro study, two hydrofluoric acid (HFA) concentrations of 5% (A) and 10% (B) were used at t...

Effect of hydrofluoric acid surface treatments on micro-shear bond strength of CAD/CAM ceramics

Introduction Dental ceramics are appreciated as highly esthetic restorative materials that can simulate the appearance of natural dentition better than other materials. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of hydrofluoric acid concentration and etching time on micro-shear bond strength (μSBS) to IPS e.max CAD and Vita Mark II of a dual cured resin cement (Panavia F2.0). Methods Th...

Effect of different adhesives combined with two resin composite cements on shear bond strength to polymeric CAD/CAM materials.

This study tested the impact of different adhesives and resin composite cements on shear bond strength (SBS) to polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA)- and composite-based CAD/CAM materials. SBS specimens were fabricated and divided into five main groups (n=30/group) subject to conditioning: 1. Monobond Plus/Heliobond (MH), 2. Visio.link (VL), 3. Ambarino P60 (AM), 4. exp. VP connect (VP), and 5. no co...
